Notes:
This cartoon calls attention to the rather close ties between money and politics. Wall Street is shown dancing vigorously with the Democrats while Special Privilege leads the Republicans about the dance floor. To add to the indecency of this relationship the artist has shown them dancing the Turkey Trot and the Grizzly Bear, two dances considered by some at the time to be immoral. Representing the common people, the shocked dance floor manager calls out to the police for help.
