Edward Dry’s Antiques Bought & Sold 1917-1931 ledger and book of mementos is a fascinating source for those interested in the antique pickers, and the Pennsylvania German decorative folk art they bought at auctions, estate sales, and from individuals in southeastern Pennsylvania, and then sold to antique shops, dealers, and private collectors.   Many of these same objects are now part of private collections, as well as of those at the Free Library of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Winterthur, and other prestigious libraries and museums.
