The Logan Branch was the 21st Free Library branch built using funds donated by Andrew Carnegie; it opened on November 16, 1918. This 1959 photograph shows extensive modernization to the interior: new lighting and flooring, woodwork repainted in a light shade, the circulation desk redesigned (including a private staff space). Unfortunately, a basement fire in 1962 necessitated redoing the interior again.
The Logan Branch serves the residents of the Logan neighborhood.
