"Daylight saving went into effect at the State Capitol today with everyone attending to business according to the locally established hours for summer, although in some departments clocks remained on standard time due to the provisions of the State law which makes the time fixed by Congress the official time of the Commonwealth. This did not bother any one, however, and folks went to work and left just an hour ahead of what they did last week."
