Exterior view of the facade and entranceway to the Livezey House, an 18th-century stone house alongside Wissahickon Creek in West Mt. Airy. Residence bought in 1747 by Thomas Livezey, a wealthy miller, who named it Glen Fern. In 1873 the City of Philadelphia bought the building from the Livezey family with help from the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust.
