Translation:
To these two married people, namely Jacob Muthardt and his lawful wife Christina, a [daughter of ] Simon Georgin, a daughter was born into the world, named Elisabeth Muthhardtin, in the year of Christ 1813, the 5th day October, at half past 11 o’clock at night. This Elisabeth Muthharttin was born and baptized in America, in the state of Pennsylvania, in Lehigh County, and in Weysenburg Township. Abovementioned Elisabeth was baptized on the 21st day of November in said year, by Mister Quartmann, Lutheran preacher. Sponsors were Vallentin Werly and his wife Elisabeth. Martin Brechall.

Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur extends across the lower half of the document, with the with the artist’s name in German script at the lower right corner. In the upper half is a heart that is surrounded by tulips. In the upper corners are two quarter fans. The two halves are divided by a line, and the entire item is enclosed by a decorative border.
