Diesen beiden Ehegaten als \ Andreas Rauch und seiner Ehlichen \ Hausfrau Catharina Marg eine gebohrne \ Ebertin ist ein Sohn zur Welt \ gebohren Namens Peter Rauch im Jahr \ Christi 1797 den 17. Tag September um 8 \ Uhr Morgen. Dieser Peter Rauch ist geboren \ und getauft in America, im Staat Pennsylvanien, \ in Northampton County, und in Heydelberg \ Taunschip. Obengeldter Peter Rauch ist \ getauft worden den 12. Tag November 1797 \ von Herrn Johan Henrich Helffrich Reformirter \ Prediger, Taufzeugen waren Peter Ebert \ und Christina Müllerin ledigen Standes \ damals.

Translation:

To these two married people, namely Andreas Rauch and his lawful wife Catharina Marg., a born Ebertin, a son was born into the world, named Peter Rauch, in the year of Christ 1797, on the 17th day of September, at 8 o’clock in the morning. This Peter Rauch was born and baptized in America, in the state of Pennsylvania, in Northampton County, and in Heidelberg Township. Above mentioned Peter Rauch was baptized on the 12th day of November 1797 from Mister Johan Henrich Helffrich, Reformed preacher. Sponsors were Peter Ebert and Christina Müllerin, single back then.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur is in the circle in the center of the document. Two verses in Fraktur within hearts are on the sides. In the upper corners are two circles, and in the lower corners are two flowers. In the upper and lower centers are flowers, including two tulips.
