Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered; cutwork. The text in Fraktur within a heart is in the center of the document. The area around the heart is cut in an intricate pattern with leaves, two flowers and two birds. The entire document is farmed by a decorative border and pasted onto another sheet of paper. This bookplate is in the collection of prayers Die Ernsthafte Christenpflicht (Ephrata, Pa., 1785). (PA GER Ephrata 1785 Er66)
