Notes:
Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script within a heart is in the lower center of the document. Above it is a tree-like plant with several leafy stems of tulips. The entire document is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in the Mennonite hymnal Die kleine geistliche Harfe (Germantaun: Michael Billmeyer, 1811). (PA GER Germantown 1811 K673)
This bookplate has been attributed to schoolmaster David Kulp on the basis of closely related motifs and handwriting.
