Sing, beth und geh auf Gottes Wegen, \ Verricht das Deine nur getreu, \ Und trau des Höchsten reichem Segen, \ So wird er bey dir werden neu \ Denn welcher seine Zuversicht \ Auf Gott setzt, den verlässt er nicht.
 


Translation:

Jacob Bamberger, born on the 1st of October 1824.
Sing, pray and walk on God’s paths. Complete your tasks faithfully and trust the rich blessing of the highest one, so it will become new for you. For whoever puts his trust in God will not be abandoned by him.
