Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The main text in Fraktur within a heart is in the lower center of the document. Additional text in Fraktur and German script is in the lower corners. From the top of the heart protrudes a leafy plant with several flowers, including tulips. The entire item is framed by a decorative border. This bookplate is in Das Neue Testament (Lancaster, Pa.: Johann Bär, 1821) (PA GER Lancaster 1821 B471) .
