Hand-drawn; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur and German script is in the center of the document. It is surrounded by calligraphic spirals. The bookplate was written on a circular piece of paper that was then pasted inside the book. This bookplate is in the Lutheran hymnal Deutsches Gesangbuch (Philadelphia: Joh.
