The New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ in the German translation by Martin Luther, with short summaries of each chapter and complete notes to parallel passages, as well as the Gospels and Epistles for all Sundays and festivals.

Hand-drawn; hand-lettered. The item is dvided into three sections by borders. The text in Fraktur and German script is in the upper two sections. In the lower portion are several flowers, including two tulips. In the upper right area is a flower and a triangular shape. The entire item is framed by a decorative border.
