To these two married people namely Benjamin Wagner and his wife Lidia, born Beier, a son was born on the 10th day of August in the year 1838 in Upper Bern Township, berks County, state of Pennsylvania in North America and received the name Levi through the holy baptism on the 16th of September anno 1838 from Pastor Herbel. The sponsors were Georg Zechman and his wife Sarah.

Hand-drawn; hand-colored; hand-lettered. The text in Fraktur within an oval wreath of leafy flower stems is in the upper center of the document. In the lower center is a heart with two leafy vines and two birds. On each side is a cluster of four tulips and leaves. In the upper corner are two flowers, and in the lower area are two roses.
