Based on recent recommendations from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, we strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask inside Library buildings. If you are not fully vaccinated, you must continue to wear a mask and are strongly encouraged to double-mask indoors. Children under age 12 must also wear a mask.

For your safety and the safety of staff, please follow these guidelines.

Respectfully wait your turn for library resources and services.

Before your visit...

Please call or check the hours of your neighborhood library. Services and hours are subject to change.
Make a reservation, if required, and arrive on time. Some services, like material pick-up, may require a reservation.
Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Return all materials in the book drop.
Limit computer use to one session per person per day. Staff are not able to offer one-to-one computer assistance.
You must wear a mask while on Library property if you are not fully vaccinated. Masks should cover both your nose and mouth.

During your visit...

Follow the instructions of library and security staff.
Keep all entrances and exits clear.
Refrain from moving furniture.
Refrain from eating or drinking.

Members of the public not following guidelines will be asked to leave.
The Library's Standards of Acceptable Behavior still apply.
