Treasures from the Literature Vault
Literature Department at Parkway Central Library
Do you love old books?
Then join us for Treasures from the Vault– a casual, hands-on book club program spotlighting items from the Literature vault! The vault, home to our closed reference collections, is a treasure trove of hundreds of fascinating pieces of literary history. This program is your chance to get up close and personal with first editions signed by your favorite writers, marvel at beautiful illustrations, and much more!
Treasures from the Vault meets monthly in the Literature Department at Parkway Central. Drop by for fifteen minutes or take a deep dive and stay for the whole afternoon. We’ll have a themed selection of books for you to browse, but this is also a great opportunity to chat with a librarian about your interests. There’s something in the vault for everyone!
Treasures from the Vault now meets monthly! Mark your calendars for the 4-6 pm, 1st Thursday of the month.
