Heritage Hangout
Heim Center for Cultural and Civic Engagement at Parkway Central Library
Join Friends of the Tanner House and Free Library Exhibitions for their second annual Heritage Hangout from 2:30 - 4:30 PM. We invite all those interested in Black memory work, the archives, and heritage preservation to join us at Parkway Central Library to celebrate one another and steward multigenerational community to move forward our collective work. At the cusp of Black History Month, we are here to lift up the folks who do this work all year. Bring your resources, program fliers, and ideas/possibilities! This informal event will include light refreshments and opportunities to engage with relevant library resources in collaboration with the Heim Center for Cultural and Civic Engagement.
