printPHILLY! 2025 Print Fair
Print and Picture Collection at Parkway Central Library
The Philadelphia Print Consortium and the Free Library of Philadelphia are pleased to announce the third annual printPHILLY! print fair, free and open to the public at Parkway Central Library on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
This event focuses on printmaking as a vital, contemporary art medium, as well as one of historic significance to the city of Philadelphia.
Participants include over 40 individual artists, print shops, collectives, and non-profit spaces.
Special events during printPHILLY! include:
11 AM: "The Print Center and the Continuous Contemporary", a lecture presentation about printmaking by Lauren Rosenblum, Jensen Bryan Curator at The Print Center. This event takes place in room 131/132, Heim Center, at 11 AM.
12 PM - 3 PM: Hands on Printmaking with Mural Arts: Printmaking By The People: Anytime between 12 and 3, join Mural Arts Philadelphia to make your own print on the first floor of Parkway Central Library.
2 PM - 4 PM: Books on prints and prints in books: Art Department display for printPHILLY! Stop by the Art Department on the 2nd floor between 2 pm and 4 pm to see books and portfolios related to printmaking.
9 AM - 5 PM: Black Histories of Philadelphia Exhibition on view in the Second Floor West Gallery.
The fair is hosted by the Philadelphia Print Consortium with support from the Free Library of Philadelphia, The Soapbox: Community Print Shop & Zine Library, and American Color Print Society.
