Waging War on Immigration and Science

Mon, September 18, 2017 6:30 P.M.
Philadelphia City Institute

Zack Pelta-Heller remembers his grandfather, a Holocaust survivor, immigrant, and inventor, in light of the highly controversial immigration ban President Trump proposed earlier this year.

Zack Pelta-Heller is the Web Content Manager at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. His writing has appeared in The Huffington Post, UPI,  Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, The Nation, The American Prospect, AlterNet, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, among other publications. He holds an MFA from The New School.

This program will be held in the meeting room on the library’s lower level, and we regret there is no elevator.

This program is part of the Welcoming Week 2017 "Connecting neighbors, serving communities."
