A Taste of African Heritage
West Oak Lane Library
Our six-week cooking program, A Taste of African Heritage, celebrates the healthy food traditions of the African diaspora. The program introduces participants to the rich cultural history of African heritage foods while providing them the tools they need to adopt this traditional way of eating for better health in modern day life. Program runs from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Participants are encouraged, but not required, to attend every class in the series. This program is recommended for adults. To register, please contact a librarian at 215-685-2843.
