Most Honoured Sir /
Trusting you will Pardon the Liberty I have taiken wich is in the behalf of a young female whom by fraill Nature, at an unguarded Moment & the Elapse of 9 Months as became the Mother of a fine Girl. She is Particulary Clean & Most trustworthey & as a Servant can have a undeniable Character. From her Situation she Left in consequence of the unfortunate Occurrence wich was with a Fellow Servant who afterwards abandoned her having no friends to appeal to under such circumstance. I have been solicited to act thus in her behalf to obtain for her a Situation as Sheet (?) Nurse as Recommended by the Midwife. Her Age is 22 Exceedingly Healthey Sober & Industrious with her Needle, Should such young Woman meet with your Approbation & meritt by your Patronage, She will moste gratefully appreciate your kindness. She is to be seen at N 1 Grosvenor Cottages Whitaker St Chestharse (?) St Kings Road Eaton Sq. her Name is Martha Butwell
