SparkFun Brings Maker Movement to Cecil B. Moore Library

Want to have a fun-filled day of creativity, learning, and making cool stuff courtesy of Free Library and SparkFun?

The SparkFun tour bus and staff will visit the Cecil B. Moore Library at 2320 West Cecil B. Moore Avenue on Tuesday, September 17th as part of their National Education Tour. The SparkFun crew will conduct four workshops for learners of all ages on e-textiles, wearable LEDs, and training dedicated to educators, mentors, parents, after-school coordinators, and just about anyone who works with youth on how electronics can be a vital part of education and programming.

Workshop times are as follows:

Adult / Educator Training
11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

Youth Workshop
1:00 p.m. –  2:30 p.m. 

Youth Workshop
3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

Youth Workshop
5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
