Notes: This initial B on the verso begins Psalm 1, "Beatus vir..." (Blessed is the man). In the upper register of the initial, King David is playing a harp. Below, he is shown as a youth slaying Goliath. Within the six roundels of the frame are musicians playing various instruments: (from the upper left corner clockwise) viol, psaltery, pipes, gittern, organ, and rebec. This leaf has been separated from its adjoining text, which continues on fol. 26r. The inscription on the opposite folio is a prayer to St. Michael of Limoges, written in a 15th-century cursive hand.
Notes: This manuscript has been dated to ca. 1225-1240.
