Notes: This page begins a mass of the Virgin, which appears at the end of the manuscript. The text here was written by a different scribe from the one that produced the rest of the book and its decoration was never completed. The text in medieval manuscripts was always completed first, with the illuminators decorating the book after the scribe or scribes had finished their work. In this section of the manuscript, although the scribe left room for border decoration, initials, and miniatures, the spaces remain empty.
