Residents can get out of the heat and into an air-conditioned space at a neighborhood library with access to books, computers, wireless internet, and other library amenities.
The following neighborhood library locations will serve as cooling centers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday July 27, Friday July 28, and Saturday July 29, 2023:

- Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional Library | 68 West Chelten Avenue
- Blanche A. Nixon/Cobbs Creek Library | 5800 Cobbs Creek Parkway
- Fumo Family Library | 2437 South Broad Street
- Haverford Library | 5543 Haverford Avenue
- Lillian Marrero Library | 601 West Lehigh Avenue
- Logan Library | 1333 Wagner Avenue
- Nicetown-Tioga Library | 3720 North Broad Street
- Northeast Regional Library | 2228 Cottman Avenue
- Oak Lane Library | 6614 North 12th Street
- Widener Library | 2808 West Lehigh Avenue
