Hand colored lithograph of Camp Wayne, Pennsylvania depicting a celebration of a four-day encampment to lay the monument for American troops massacred by the British on September 20th.,1777. Shows troops marching in formation around the edge of the encampment watched by officers and dignitaries assembled on the extreme left. Smoke rises from camp fires in the distance, and a flag flies at full-staff in the centre of the grounds.
