Hand-colored engraving depicting the short-lived financial institution established in 1836 by Thomas Dyott, glass manufacturer and merchant. Within two years of opening, the bank failed and Dyott was on trial for fraudulent insolvency. Shows people on the sidewalks, some of whom are customers of the bank.
