In addition to the building's owner, engraver of embossed cards, envelopes, labels, etc., signage on the facade advertises the presence of several tenants as Evans, card and fancy printer; Louderback & Hoffmann, engravers on wood; J. R. McMullin, blank book manufacturer; Dimes Saving Fund; Bailey & Alexander, ship and custom-house brokers. A coach and horses is being driven hard past the building.
