Halftone reproduction of photograph showing the Commercial Trust Company building on South Broad Street. Designed by Frank Furness, the thirteen-story structure was built in 1901, and was originally named the Arcade Building. It was connected to the Broad Street Railroad Station by a pedestrian bridge which spanned busy Market Street and which ended in an arcade of shops. The building was demolished in 1969 to make way for the construction of Dilworth Plaza.

Halftone reproduction of photograph showing the Girard Trust Company building situated on the Northwest corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets. Built 1906-1908, the low-rise domed building was designed by Frank Furness in the Neoclassical Revival style.
