Depicts a wide boulevard lined with grand residences. Well-dressed people promenade in front of elegant buildings and landscaped gardens. The mansion shown in the center of the picture is the home of industrialist William B. Bennett. Also shows a variety of horse-drawn carriages on the street including, in the foreground, a surrey with a fringed canopy. A man and a woman ride horseback.
