Item 1, entire page:  Three images of the aftermath of a fire that destroyed the 71st Regiment's Armory, on Park Avenue, New York City, on February 23, 1902.  While the fire began in the armory, explosions sent sparks across the street, igniting the Park Street Hotel as well, which was also destroyed, killing 20 hotel guests.  The photographs show the smoking ruins of the armory and the powder magazine.  The photographic reproductions, for an unidentified New York publication, measure 23 x 12.5 cm (top) and 11.25 x 11.5 cm (bottom left and right), 1902.
