Item 1, top: Pamplet opened out advertising a cricket match to be held at the Germantown Cricket Club, 411 Manheim Street, September 20th, 21st and 23d, 1895, between Gentlemen of Philadelphia and Cambridge-Oxford XI. The Ladies' Club House is shown on the left-hand side (verso), and the Main Club House on the right-hand side (recto). Both images are surrounded by ornate floral scrolls. Image size: 20.3 x 12.7cm

Item 2, center left: Engraving on wood of the barracks and parade ground of the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Two men holding muskets affixed with bayonets stand in front of the building.15.5 x 11.0cm

Item 3, center right: Vignetted engraving of the Masonic Hall in 1802. Located at 814 Filbert Street this rowhouse was the meeting place of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania from 1802 to 1810, and again from 1819 to 1820. A small cupola adorned with masonic symbols is shown on the roof of the building. Image size: 6.8 x 8.3cm

Item 4, bottom left: Shows the facade of Goldsmiths' Hall, located at 420 Library Street. The six-story brownstone building was tenanted by a variety of commercial enterprises before it was destroyed by fire in 1882. Image size: 7.5 x 6.6cm

Item 5, bottom right: Two illustrations depicting the kitchen and exterior facade of the Rabbit Club, an all-male private eating club for Philadelphia bluebloods. Founded in 1866, the country club was named after its original location on Rabbit Lane in West Philadelphia. In 1871 it moved to 2200 Belmont Avenue. Image size:11.0 x 9.0cm
