Item 1, top left:  Image of the "engraving-room" in James L. Claghorn's Philadelphia residence. Caption for the engraving also reads, "A Clever Town Built By Quakers." Claghorn was a banker, art collector/patron, and officer of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Philadelphia School of Design for Women.  This private gallery was open to the public, as well as exhibited in other cities.  Engraving for an unidentified publication, 13.5 x 11.5 cm, undated.
