 Item 1, entire page:  Caption for an Evening Bulletin article reads, "Walmarthon, Main Line Estate Of Leather Magnate, Up For Sale."  The text details some of the history of the residence, and its expected sale.  Image shows a back view of the solarium and gardens for this lavish Spanish-Renaissance style mansion, built for leather manufacturer Charles Walton by architect David Knickerbocker Boyd in 1913.  The entire 41-acre property was sold to the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1951, establishing the faith-based Eastern Baptist College.  It was renamed Eastern University in 2001, and the mansion is now the university's Walton Hall.  Text and reproduction of a photograph for an Evening Bulletin article, 14 x 24 cm, 9/2/1950.
