37 Free Library Locations to Serve as Polling Places in 2020 Presidential Election

By Jenn D. RSS Tue, October 27, 2020

If you do not plan to vote by mail, please plan to vote at the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3!

Despite COVID-19, many of our neighborhood libraries will again be designated as voting locations. These libraries will be closed for library services on Election Day; they will be open only for voting. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Voters are urged to wear face masks. Anyone in line by 8:00 p.m. will be able to vote.

Additionally, libraries serving as polling places will remain closed until they are professionally cleaned. The timeline for reopening will vary. Please visit freelibrary.org/locations or call 1-833-TALK FLP (825-5357) for up-to-date information after Election Day.

Free Library locations that are not polling places will offer library services on November 3. To find these libraries, visit freelibrary.org/locations or call 1-833-TALK FLP (825-5357). Of course, we are always open to meet your needs at freelibrary.org.

Here is the list of neighborhood libraries serving as polling sites:

It's always been a seamless and trouble free voting experience, at the Widener Branch Library for me.
