Halftone reproduction of photograph, taken from the tower of the Masonic Temple, showing elevated view of 13th & Market Streets. John Wanamaker bought the old freight station (seen at the bottom of the photograph) from the Pennsylvania Rail Road for the site of his Grand Depot, which he opened in 1876.
