Item 1, top:  Two images of Central High School for Boys, and Girls' High School, for an unidentified publication, undated (but c. 1900).

Top left is an image of the (then) new third location for Central High, from 1900-1939, at the SW corner of Broad & Green Streets, in the Spring Garden neighborhood.  In 1939, the school moved to its fourth, and present, location at 1700 W Olney Avenue.  Reproduction of a Burk & McFetridge Co. engraving, for an unidentified publication, 12.5 x 9.5 cm, undated.

Top right is a photograph of  the Girls' High and Normal School, which was located at the NE corner of 17th & Spring Garden Streets, from 1876-1893.  After two more Center City relocations, Girls' High today is in the Logan/Ogontz neighborhood, at the SW corner of Broad & Olney, since 1958.  Reproduction of a photograph, for an unidentified publication, 9.5 x 9.5 cm, undated.

Item 2, bottom:  Another image of the third location (under construction at the time), for Central High school, at the SW corner of Broad & Green Streets. Reproduction of a Burk & McFetridge Co. engraving, for an unidentified publication, 24 x 27 cm, undated (but c. 1900).
