40 Library Locations Now Offering Six Days of Service!

By Kate C. RSS Mon, February 25, 2019

If the winter blues have got you down, how about heading to your neighborhood library and taking advantage of everything a library card has to offer?

Forty of our library locations are now offering a sixth day of service, which means more time to fit a library visit into your busy schedule.

In addition to books, DVDs, and audiobooks available from our extensive catalog, a Free Library card opens up a world of possibility, including access to some of the more non-traditional items available for lending – those that will leave you saying "I didn’t know I could get that from the library!" We also offer over 25,000 events each year across the system, so there’s truly something for everyone.

The following neighborhood libraries will now have hours on Saturdays:

And come check out these libraries open on Sundays:

We hope we’ll see you soon!

Hi Catherine, and thank you for the note. While we strive to open as many libraries as possible for a sixth day of service, at this moment we are not able to open every individual neighborhood library on weekends. Please visit us at nearby Ramonita deRodriguez Library (600 W. Girard Ave) or Richmond Library (2987 Almond Ave) on Saturdays.
