Item pdcc00229, bottom left [image dimensions 15.2 cm x 8.5 cm]:

Photograph shows three-story row houses, with basement entrances below street level, and dormer windows at roof level.  Ornamental ironwork graces the fronts and steps to the entrances. Working shutters flank the windows. An aproned woman walks along the brick sidewalk carrying a large bucket. Trolley tracks can be seen on the cobbled street.

Item pdcc00230, bottom right [image dimensions 9.6 cm x 11.7 cm]:

Original glossy photograph of a house front. Windows have working shutters. Ornamental ironwork protects the sunken area in front of the basement windows and grace the wide steps leading to the entrance above street level.  The fanlight above the door is inset with decorative glazing bars. A teenage boy poses casually to the left of the steps. Signage on the windows advertises fine French chocolate.
