Illustration showing part of the accomodations for cats at the Hotel Felis. Administered by the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals, the institution served as a temporary shelter for family cats while their owners were away from home. The building subsequently housed the Morris Animal Refuge.
