Half of a stereoscopic view of the Quaker Almshouse taken by notable Philadelphia photographer James Cremer. The cottage, erected 1713,  was one of several small houses built to accomodate poor members of the Society of Friends. It was torn down in 1876. A seated woman sits posing in front of the house.
