Depicts the facade of the Quaker Almshouse fronting Walnut Street. The brick building provided food, shelter and work primarily for indigent members of the Society of Friends. It was demolished in 1841.

Halftone reproduction of photograph showing one of the last remaining cottages of the Quaker Almshouse built by the Society of Friends in 1713. It was torn down in 1876.
