Depicts the Gothic facade of the orphanage for girls, located on Market Street beyond 63rd Street in Upper Darby, Delaware County. Founded by Eliza H. Burd in 1856, the asylum opened in 1863 under the management of St. Stephen's Protestant Episcopal Church, on 10th Street, Philadelphia.
