Halftone reproduction of a sketch showing horse carriages racing past Turner's Road House. People on the porch of the inn and standing by the roadside, are shown waving at the exciting scene. The road house was a famous hostelry from 1856 to 1888. Situated at the junction of Penrose Ferry Road and Sheaf Lane, it adjoined the Point Breeze racecourse.
