Shows the St. Cloud Hotel with carriages parked at the front entrance on the 700 block of Arch Street. Established around 1873, the hotel caught fire and was destroyed in 1886.

Item pdcc01055, bottom [image dimensions 12.2 cm x 18.1 cm]:

Depicts the historic inn located in West Whiteland Township, Chester County. Built in 1765, the original two-story stone structure was later expanded to a double bay Georgian style building with a full-width front porch. It housed an inn and tavern until 1800.
