Halftone reproduction of a photograph of The Punch Bowl, a tavern located on North Broad Street and Lamb Tavern Road. Shows a group of men posing on the steps to the covered porch above.  Three hansom cabs are parked on the grassy rise surounding the front of the building. In the late 1860s, the "Bowl", as it was known, became popular when people sat on its elevated porches to watch the horse-racing up Broad Street and out Lamb Tavern Road.
