Engraved advertisement for Nelson's Hotel with horsecars being manoevered in front of the four-story building. A second-floor balcony, with an ornamental iron railing, runs the full width of the facade. The text of the advertisement reads: Nelson's Hotel located at the terminus of the Reading Railroad on Broad Street, Phila., which will be found very Suitable for the travelling punlic. Bed Rooms neat & Airy, Meals, at all Hours, Liqs Imp.d direct. James Nelson Propr. NB the public will find this a Comfortable and economical House conducted on the European Plan.
