Notes:

The photograph shows a large brick building with a gambrel roof showing three dormer windows. A wrap-around porch is supported by columns connected by arches ornamented with tracery. The four-paned windows are small. The caption is handwritten below the image. The name of the house may be a misspelling of Robeson. Andrew Robeson was a judge and a Chief Justice of Pennsylvania from 1693 to 1699. In 1702 he purchased a 500 acre tract, along the Schuylkill and Wissahickon Creek, upon which this house was built.
