Notes:

Reproduction of a pen and ink drawing showing the facade of the home of Thomas Wilcox, early paper maker and owner of Ivy Mills, the second paper mill to operate in America. Built prior to 1744 at Concord in Delaware (then Chester) County, the Wilcox Mansion became one of the first Catholic stations in the region, where Mass was conducted by priests from Philadelphia. It continued in this capacity until 1837 when the house was torn down.
