View showing the waterwheel and part of the stone wall belonging to the historic Old Swedes Mill. Also called Printz's Mill after Johann Printz, the Governor of the New Sweden Colony. The grist mill was built on Cobbs Creek in 1645 eight years after the first Swedish settlers arrived in the area. The mill, which no longer exists, was the first water-powered mill in what is now Pennsylvania.
